During the landing on Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, Airbus A380 of British Airways has suffered a bird strike.
A bird was ingested into the inboard left engine as the aircraft approached the airport for landing. At 17:35 GMT, the plane touched down safely.
Travelers who should fly back to London Heathrow on the same airplane one and a half hours afterward were told that their trip had been rescheduled until the next day.
