LASER Airlines Returned To The Gate After Massive Fuel Leak On Departure

A Laser Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-83 (registered as YV3445) forced to return to the gate from the flight Maiquetía, Venezuela to Cancun, Mexico after passengers have noticed fuel gushing out of the right-wing fuel vent.

Passengers started shouting and showing the crew the leak coming from the wing.

However, aviation specialists stated that the situation was not as serious as it was being made out to be, and was considered a “minor safety incident”. After reaching the gate, maintenance work was carried out and the aircraft was back in service some hours later, successfully departing Maiquetía around 12 p.m. the same day.

It is an unlikely event. The oil spill is dangerous, although aviation experts say it\’s not that serious. Excellent that can be repaired Can come back and fly on the same day
