Boeing 737-800 of Ryanair began to taxi with its tow bar still attached

The incident happened when Boeing 737-800 started taxiing ahead of time after pushback with the tow bar still attached. The right engine of the aircraft has been damaged as a result.

Boeing 737-800 (registered as 9H-QAH) was outbound from Frankfurt International Airport to Puerto del Rosario Airport as flight FR2907.

Before the pilots could finish taxiing, the tow bar remained attached below the engine. In the end, the friction of the tow bar caused sparks to fly out of the engine.
